Mechanical Engineering
About this course
Mechanical engineering is one of the oldest engineering in the technical education curriculum. The engineering field requires an understanding of core concepts including machines, kinematics, thermodynamics, material science, structural analysis, and electricity. Mechanical engineers use these core principles along with tools like computer aided design, and product life cycle management to design and analyze manufacturing plants, industrial equipment and machinery heating and cooling systems, transport systems, aircraft and others. In this profession, you will be responsible for designing and developing machines right from bicycles to supersonic fighter jets and toasters which can be extremely challenging and fulfilling, requiring analytical skills together with an ability to work in a team.
